Activated charcoal is made from charred wood or vegetable matter that has been treated or processed into tiny particles to make it extremely porous. For acne prone skin: Due to its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, applying red wine topically on the face clears the pores, fights acne and prevents future breakouts.
